The Computer Engineering Techniques Department was established in the academic year 2005-2006. The Computer Engineering Techniques Department is one of the modern trends that aims to graduate technical engineering personnel specialized in the field of computer networks, digital communications systems, various digital processors, electronic control systems, software systems, and all modern technologies related to this specialty, in addition. To the fields of digital electronics. The computer engineering techniques program is considered an applied academic program concerned with teaching and training students practically in specialized subjects and materials that support specialization in computer engineering techniques, including engineering technology curricula in computers, communications, and electronics, and specialized curricula in computer networks to qualify an engineer capable of meeting scientific and practical solutions to the requirements of the labor market. The duration of study is four years, after which the graduate obtains a bachelor’s degree, which qualifies him to practice technical engineering work, especially in the field of design and implementation of computer-based systems. The graduate is also granted an Engineers Syndicate ID and has the right to practice the engineering profession in state departments and the private sector.
